Take a break:
If your club reduces classes or you find yourself with some downtime then take a break, enjoy the sunshine and grab an ice lolly. Whilst everyone needs a break from time to time, you could also use this time to plan for busier times, do stock takes or organise your next marketing campaign.
Get out in the community:
At this time of year, many schools, churches and communities will hold fairs and fun days and this is a great way to get your business’ name out there and to meet loads of potential new members. If there are no local fun days in your area, you can always create your own! Choose a charity and get some other local businesses involved and you’ll have a great day all round. This will create a great team feel in your current members and promote new members to come along, find out about your club and sign up.
Start a summer promotion:
Many clubs will find a decrease in new members joining during the summer months – try and counteract this with a new summer promotion. With people booking summer holidays and children off school for a while, there are plenty of different marketing avenues to take. Summer Camps:
With no school over summer, this is a great time to get a whole load of kids in to spend the day learning about Martial Art or fitness that you teach. Offering this to everyone will mean a boost in potential members joining up. Remember to make the day as fun and accessible as possible. Whilst there a lot of things to consider with planning an event like this, it’s a great way to boost your income and to get new members joining.
